Assay Principle
Boster’s Antibody Diluent for Western Blotting consists of BSA, detergent and antibody stabilizer. This buffer helps to reduce non-specific binding of the primary antibody in WB and effectively increase storage time of diluted primary antibody.
Usage
Refer to the instructions for use of the primary antibody and the expression level of the target protein in the sample, and dilute the primary antibody in an appropriate ratio. Diluted primary antibody can be used directly in Western. Unused diluted primary antibody can be stored at 4°C for future use.
Note
1. In order to enable the antibody to be used repeatedly, it is recommended to perform the binding reaction between the primary antibody and the protein membrane at 4°C to slow down the decay rate of the primary antibody.
2. Please do not use the Antibody Diluent if there is any precipitation or bacterial contamination.
