Materials Required But Not Provided
- Microplate reader in standard size.
- Automated plate washer.
- Adjustable pipettes and pipette tips. Multichannel pipettes are recommended in the condition of large amount of samples in the detection.
- Clean tubes and Eppendorf tubes.
- Washing buffer (neutral PBS or TBS).
- Preparation of 0.01M TBS: Add 1.2g Tris, 8.5g NaCl; 450μl of purified acetic acid or 700μl of concentrated hydrochloric acid to 1000ml H2
- Preparation of 0.01 M PBS: Add 8.5g sodium chloride, 1.4g Na O and adjust pH to 7.2-7.
Typical Data Obtained from Human LAMA1 PicoKine™ ELISA Kit
(TMB reaction incubate at 37°C for 15-20min)
Intra/Inter Assay Precision
|Intra-Assay Precision||Inter-Assay Precision|
Three samples with differing target protein concentrations were assayed using four different lots to measure the CV% lot to lot variance.
To assay reproducibility, three samples with differing target protein concentrations were assayed using four different lots.
|Lots||Lot1 (pg/ml)||Lot2 (pg/ml)||Lot3 (pg/ml)||Lot4 (pg/ml)||Mean (pg/ml)||Standard Deviation||CV (%)|
*The typical data is obtained from Boster's internal QC result and for reference only. It may differ from the lab test results of the end users. It is more important that the user's lab test results reflect the same linearity demonstrated in the typical data than achieving exactly the same O.D. values.
Protein Target Info (Source: Uniprot.org)
|Protein Name||Laminin subunit alpha-3|
|Tissue Specificity||Skin; respiratory, urinary, and digestive epithelia and in other specialized tissues with prominent secretory or protective functions. Epithelial basement membrane, and epithelial cell tongue that migrates into a wound bed. A differential and focal expression of the subunit alpha-3 is observed in the CNS.|
|Alternative Names||Laminin subunit alpha-3;Epiligrin 170 kDa subunit;E170;Epiligrin subunit alpha;Kalinin subunit alpha;Laminin-5 subunit alpha;Laminin-6 subunit alpha;Laminin-7 subunit alpha;Nicein subunit alpha;LAMA3;LAMNA;|
|Subcellular Localization||Secreted, extracellular space, extracellular matrix, basement membrane. Major component.|
|Molecular Weight||366649 MW|
*if product is indicated to react with multiple species, protein info is based on the human gene.
|Protein Function||Binding to cells via a high affinity receptor, laminin is thought to mediate the attachment, migration and organization of cells into tissues during embryonic development by interacting with other extracellular matrix components.|
|Background||Laminin is a large basement membrane glycoprotein composed of three subunits designated the A, B1, and B2.1 Laminin has diverse biological functions, which include stimulating epithelial cell growth and differentiation. The nucleotide sequence of human laminin A chain has an open reading frame encoding 3075-amino acids. The human laminin A chain is at locus 18p11.3. The nucleotide sequence of the human laminin B1 reveals a 5358-base pair open reading frame that potentially codes for 1786 amino acids, including 20 amino acids of a presumptive signal peptide.2 The gene for the human laminin-B1 chain has been localized to chromosome 7, band q31. The B2 chain consists of six distinct domains, including two domains with alpha-helical, coiled-coil structures, two domains with cysteine-rich homologous repeats, and two globular domains. The amino acid sequences of the B2 and B1 chains demonstrate considerable homology. The human laminin B2 chain gene maps to the long arm of chromosome 1 in the band q31.|
