Material Required But Not Provided
- 1. Microplate reader in standard size.
- 2. Automated plate washer.
- 3. Adjustable pipettes and pipette tips. Multichannel pipettes are recommended in the condition of large amount of samples in the detection.
- 4. Clean tubes and Eppendorf tubes.
- 5. Washing buffer (neutral PBS or TBS).
- Preparation of 0.01M TBS: Add 1.2g Tris, 8.5g Nacl; 450μl of purified acetic acid or 700μl of concentrated hydrochloric acid to 1000ml H2O and adjust pH to 7.2-7.6. Finally, adjust the total volume to 1L.
- Preparation of 0.01 M PBS: Add 8.5g sodium chloride, 1.4g Na2HPO4 and 0.2g NaH2PO4 to 1000ml distilled water and adjust pH to 7.2-7.6. Finally, adjust the total volume to 1L.

|Tissue Specificity||Found in stomach, with highest levels in the upper gastric mucosal cells (at protein level). Detected in goblet cells of the small and large intestine and rectum, small submucosal glands in the esophagus, mucous acini of the sublingual gland, submucosal glands of the trachea, and epithelial cells lining the exocrine pancreatic ducts but not in the remainder of the pancreas (at protein level). "The TFF1 ELISA kit from Boster was competitively priced and worked with cell culture media taken from MCF7 cells, a human mammary carcinoma which is well known for overexpression of the TFF1 protein. The kit is very sensitive, detecting TFF1 protein at levels of 10pg/mL. The kit is saturated about 1mg/mL, so in my case, a 1 to 100 dilution of cell culture media was needed in order to be in the linear range of the assay. Good ELISA kit for human TFF1 protein. Worked as advertised."
