Introduction

The PAP Pen is suitable for various immunohistochemical staining experiments on glass slides, including the PAP method, ABC method, immunofluorescence, frozen sections, and in situ hybridization. It helps reduce the consumption of antibodies and reagents, prevents liquid run-off and diffusion during staining, and improves experimental efficiency.

Product Features

1. Quick and even liquid delivery; slides are less likely to be contaminated.
2. Specimen preparation is simple; antibodies and reagents remain within the drawn circle, minimizing loss.
3. Reduces antibody and reagent use without affecting experimental results.
4. Prevents dry slides or tissue detachment caused by surface reagent loss.

How to use

1. Shake well before use.
2. Turn the tip up and press down on the tip several times to remove air from the pen.
3. Place the pen tip on slide glass and press the tip down against the slide several times.
4. Draw a circle around the tissue on the slide.
5. After drawing the circle, dry about 30 seconds, then dip the slide into the PBS solution.
6. After use, circles can be completely removed with Xylene

Precautions

1. After staining, the drawn lines can be completely removed with xylene.
2. Always tighten the pen cap after use to prevent evaporation.
3. This product contains volatile organic solvents and has a slight odor.
4. To avoid inhalation, perform drawing and drying steps in a fume hood.
5. For research use only by trained professionals. Not for clinical diagnosis, food, or pharmaceutical use. Do not store in a residential setting.
6. For safety, wear lab coats and disposable gloves when handling the pen.
