World Cancer Day 2020

Today is World Cancer Day. Each year, organizations and people from around the world unite on February 4th to raise awareness about cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society, cancer mortality had dropped 27% from 1991 to 2016. This decline is mostly attributed to decreases in smoking and advancements in early cancer detection and treatment.

Despite this reduction in cancer mortality, cancer remains as a major public health problem worldwide. Globally, 1 out of 6 people died from cancer in 2018.

Prostate, lung, and colorectal cancers are the most common cancers diagnosed in men, representing 42% of all cases in men. The most common cancers for women are breast, lung, and colorectal cancers, which represent 50% of new cancer cases in women.

World Cancer Day empowers all of us across the world to show support and take action. Click below to find out more about cancer, the international campaign, research funding, and antibodies & ELISA kits for your cancer research.

Why Boster?

Get better results with Boster!

Boster takes great measures to ensure product quality and to provide our customers with comprehensive data upfront. Our antibodies are validated using WB, IHC, and flow cytometry against a panel of over 250 tissues and un-transfected cell lines to ensure high affinity and crystal-clear IHC stains. In addition, we also validate our antibodies in a quantitative fashion by testing them on known quantities of recombinant proteins so that you know what to expect (e.g. if there is 1ng, 2.5ng or 5ng of the target protein in the sample). Every product is covered by the Boster Quality Guarantee. Click below to learn more.
