Custom Multi-Host Polyclonal Antibody Production Services
Multi-host antibody development designed for high-specificity multiplex immunofluorescence panels—affordable, flexible, and validated.
Building a multiplex immunofluorescence (IF) panel often fails at one step: finding antibodies for every marker in compatible host species.
Boster Bio offers
custom multi-host polyclonal antibody production services
—beyond rabbit and mouse—so you can complete complex, multi-color IF panels with the right host strategy.
From antigen design to affinity purification, we track ELISA titers and antigen binding at key milestones to help ensure consistent performance and predictable QC deliverables.

Expand Your Multiplex IF Panel with More Host Options
Quick selection guide:
Decide your host strategy → Select a plan (Fast / Standard / Co-development) → Share your target + application to receive a quote.
Start from your panel—not from what’s available in rabbit or mouse.
Our multi-host polyclonal service helps you complete multiplex IF panels by selecting the best host
species for each marker and reducing secondary cross-reactivity risks.
Antigen Design Tailored for Immunofluorescence (IF)
We don’t just synthesize antigens—we design recombinant protein antigens to perform under multiple conditions.
We also offer custom antigen formats, including modified proteins, to improve
immunogenicity or mimic post-translational states
relevant to your target.
All antigen production and protein expression are handled in-house to maintain strict quality standards throughout the workflow.
Want to see how it works? We can walk you through the science behind our antigen design process using detailed project briefings
or a custom video overview. For downstream purification, Protein A columns may be used depending on the antibody isotype and host species.
When applicable, Protein G is used for affinity purification, particularly for subclasses that bind poorly to Protein A.
Unlike most vendors, we don’t leave you guessing post-purification.
We offer optional immunofluorescence validation using your own samples or tissue types from our in-house library.
This means less time spent troubleshooting and more confidence in your polyclonal antibodies.
We also provide ELISA titers for tracking antibody responses and can support Fc fragment analysis as needed.
Shared Development, Lower Cost
If your target is part of a high-interest pathway or disease model, our co-development model can significantly reduce your cost.
We retain the right to commercialize the antibody after your project, and in return, you receive reduced pricing on development
and full use of polyclonal antibodies for your work.
What Makes Our Multi-Host Custom Antibody Programs Unique?
Built for multiplex immunofluorescence workflows—so you can finish your panel with the right host options, predictable QC,
and optional application validation.
Panel-first antigen design for multiplex IF
We optimize antigen design to increase the likelihood that the resulting antibody performs in multiplex IF.
For transparency, we can provide a project briefing (and, when appropriate, a video overview) of the design strategy.
Optional IF validation (add-on)
Validate in your samples or with tissue from our in-house library to reduce troubleshooting and speed up panel completion.
Co-development to reduce cost
If your target aligns with a high-interest pathway or disease model, co-development can lower development cost while
still delivering multi-host antibodies suitable for multiplex IF applications.
Our polyclonal antibody services are tailored for flexibility across multiple host species, with timelines
adjusted for each project’s complexity.
Antibody production TIMELINE
Below is a general timeline of a custom polyclonal antibody project across
various host species. For large animals (such as goats, alpacas, and
donkeys), we extend each immunization cycle by one week to ensure the
effectiveness of the immunization. For any questions, please contact

Ready to Start?
Submit your project requirements today and our scientists will provide a formal quote and consultation within 1 business day.
We offer rabbit, goat, chicken, guinea pig, and alpaca. Our team can recommend the most suitable host based on your target and intended application. For each host, we adjust the immunization schedules to optimise immune response and yield.
Yes. Immunofluorescence validation is available as an add-on. We’ll test the antibody in your samples or using tissue from our internal collection. For certain projects, ELISA kits may also be used for quantifying binding performance.
