Anti-PSMA7 mouse monoclonal antibody (M05091) immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY PSMA7.

HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY PSMA7 (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-PSMA7.

We are currently using anti-Proteasome 20S Alpha 4 Subunit antibody (Monoclonal, MCP34) M05091 for human tissue, and we are content with the IP results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it likely that the antibody can work on feline tissues as well?

Our lab technicians have not tested anti-Proteasome 20S Alpha 4 Subunit antibody (Monoclonal, MCP34) M05091 on primate. You can run a BLAST between primate and the immunogen sequence of anti-Proteasome 20S Alpha 4 Subunit antibody (Monoclonal, MCP34) M05091 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated primate samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in primate urinary bladder in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
