Background of BIN3
BIN-3 encodes an evolutionarily conserved and ubiquitously expressed member of the BAR superfamily of curved membrane and GTPase-binding proteins implicated in signal transduction and vesicular trafficking. In humans, Bin3 maps to chromosome 8p21.3, a region widely implicated in cancer suppression that is often deleted in non–Hodgkin’s lymphomas and various epithelial tumors. Study in mouse suggests that homozygous inactivation of Bin3 causes cataracts and an increased susceptibility to lymphomas during aging.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

6 Customer Q&As for Anti-BIN3 Monoclonal Antibody
Question
Would anti-BIN3 Monoclonal antibody M11817 work on pig WB with lung skin?
Verified Customer
Verified customer
Asked: 2020-01-24
Answer
Our lab technicians have not validated anti-BIN3 Monoclonal antibody M11817 on pig. You can run a BLAST between pig and the immunogen sequence of anti-BIN3 Monoclonal antibody M11817 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated pig samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in pig lung skin in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
