Background of ALB
Anti-Human serum Fluorescein detects Human serum proteins. Serum proteins are those proteins remaining in portion of plasma after coagulation of blood, during which process the plasma protein fibrinogen is converted to fibrin and remains behind in the clot. Anti-Human serum is ideal for investigators involved in Cell Signaling, Cellular Biology and Signal Transduction research.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Question
Would A01245-2 anti-Human Serum Albumin antibody Fluorescein Conjugated work on parafin embedded sections? If so, which fixation method do you recommend we use (PFA, paraformaldehyde, other)?
Verified Customer
Verified customer
Asked: 2020-03-02
Answer
You can see on the product datasheet, A01245-2 anti-Human Serum Albumin antibody Fluorescein Conjugated as been tested on WB. It is best to use PFA for fixation because it has better tissue penetration ability. PFA needs to be prepared fresh before use. Long term stored PFA turns into formalin, as the PFA molecules congregate and become formalin.

Question
Would anti-Human Serum Albumin antibody Fluorescein Conjugated A01245-2 work on goat WB with liver?
T. Jha
Verified customer
Asked: 2017-02-06
Answer
Our lab technicians have not tested anti-Human Serum Albumin antibody Fluorescein Conjugated A01245-2 on goat. You can run a BLAST between goat and the immunogen sequence of anti-Human Serum Albumin antibody Fluorescein Conjugated A01245-2 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated goat samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in goat liver in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
