Background of CRLF2
CD6 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that contains a 24-amino acid signal sequence, three extracellular scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) domains, a membrane-spanning domain and a 44-amino acid cytoplasmic domain. The CD6 glycoprotein is tyrosine phosphorylated during TCR-mediated T cell activation. CD6 shows significant homology to CD5. CD6 is present on mature thymocytes, peripheral T cells and a subset of B cells. Antibodies to CD6 are used to deplete T cells from bone marrow transplants to prevent graft versus host disease.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Question
Would anti-TSLP Receptor antibody (Monoclonal, ABM28B6) M04167 work on primate WB with lung?
C. Krishna
Verified customer
Asked: 2015-07-29
Answer
Our lab technicians have not tested anti-TSLP Receptor antibody (Monoclonal, ABM28B6) M04167 on primate. You can run a BLAST between primate and the immunogen sequence of anti-TSLP Receptor antibody (Monoclonal, ABM28B6) M04167 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated primate samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in primate lung in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.

Question
Will M04167 anti-TSLP Receptor antibody (Monoclonal, ABM28B6) work on parafin embedded sections? If so, which fixation method do you recommend we use (PFA, paraformaldehyde, other)?
M. Kulkarni
Verified customer
Asked: 2014-09-15
Answer
It shows on the product datasheet, M04167 anti-TSLP Receptor antibody (Monoclonal, ABM28B6) as been tested on WB. It is best to use PFA for fixation because it has better tissue penetration ability. PFA needs to be prepared fresh before use. Long term stored PFA turns into formalin, as the PFA molecules congregate and become formalin.
