Background of FBXW11
This gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. The F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box), which function in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. The F-box proteins are divided into 3 classes: Fbws containing WD-40 domains, Fbls containing leucine-rich repeats, and Fbxs containing either different protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Fbws class and, in addition to an F-box, contains multiple WD40 repeats. This gene contains at least 14 exons, and its alternative splicing generates 3 transcript variants diverging at the presence/absence of two alternate exons.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Western blot using Boster's affinity purified anti-bTrCP2 antibody shows detection of mouse and human bTrCP2 (arrowhead) in NIH3T3 [lane 1] and 293 [lane 2] whole cell lysates, respectively. The band appears as a 58 kDa protein, although a 62.1 kDa band is predicted. The identity of faint higher molecular weight bands is not known. The primary antibody was used at a 1:200 dilution incubated in 5% BLOTTO overnight at 4°C. Detection occurred using HRP conjugated Goat-anti-Rabbit IgG diluted 1:20,000 in blocking buffer for 1 h at 4 °C.

3 Customer Q&As for Anti-Beta TrCP2 FBXW11 Antibody
Question
Can you help my question with product A05523, anti-Beta TrCP2 antibody. I was wondering if it would be possible to conjugate this antibody with biotin. I would need it to be without BSA or sodium azide. I am planning on using a buffer exchange of sodium azide with PBS only. Would there be problems for me to conjugate the antibody and store it in -20 degrees in small aliquots?

Answer
We suggest not storing this antibody with PBS buffer only in -20 degrees. If you want to store it in -20 degrees it is best to add some cryoprotectant like glycerol. If you want carrier free A05523 anti-Beta TrCP2 antibody, we can provide it to you in a special formula with trehalose and/or glycerol. These molecules will not interfere with conjugation chemistry and provide a good level of protection for the antibody from degradation. Please be sure to specify this in your purchase order.

Answer
The anti-Beta TrCP2 antibody (A05523) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with goat tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity. We have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in goat you can get your next antibody for free. Please contact me if I can help you with anything.
