AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein 4A (ARID4A)
DNA-binding protein that modulates activity of many transcription factors such as RB1 (retinoblastoma-associated protein) and AR (androgen receptor) (By similarity). May function as part of an mSin3A repressor complex (PubMed:14581478).
Has no intrinsic transcriptional activity (By similarity). Plays a role in the regulation of epigenetic alterations at the PWS/AS imprinting center close to the SNRPN promoter, where it might be part of a complicated with RB1 and ARID4B (By similarity).
