The Animal Membrane and Cytosol Protein Extraction Kit provides a streamlined and efficient method for the isolation of membrane and cytosolic proteins from animal cells and tissues using selective detergent extraction without phase separation. It delivers high yield (0.4–0.6 mg membrane protein from 5x10^6 cells) and high purity (<10% cytosolic protein cross-contamination), requires no homogenization or freeze-thaw cycles, and completes in about 90 minutes. Extracted proteins are compatible with BCA assay, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and immunoprecipitation.
