Background of NUP153
F-actin cross-linking protein which is thought to anchor actin to a variety of intracellular structures. This is a bundling protein. Probably involved in vesicular trafficking via its association with the CART complex. The CART complex is necessary for efficient transferrin receptor recycling but not for EGFR degradation.

We are currently using anti-NUP153 Monoclonal antibody M02183 for human tissue, and we are happy with the IF results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it true that the antibody can work on dog tissues as well?

The anti-NUP153 Monoclonal antibody (M02183) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with dog tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
