Adipogenesis regulatory factor (ADIRF)

Plays a role in fat cell development; promotes adipogenic differentiation and stimulates transcription initiation of master adipogenesis variables such as PPARG and CEBPA at early stages of preadipocyte differentiation. Its overexpression confers resistance to the anticancer chemotherapeutic drug cisplatin.
