C-C motif chemokine 9 (Ccl9)

Monokine with inflammatory, pyrogenic and chemokinetic properties. Circulates at elevated concentrations in the blood of healthy animals.

Binding to a high-affinity receptor triggers calcium release in neutrophils. Additionally, it inhibits colony formation of bone marrow myeloid immature progenitors.
