Alpha-tocopherol transfer protein (TTPA)

Binds alpha-tocopherol, enhances its transfer between different membranes, and stimulates its release from liver cells (PubMed:7887897). Binds equally phosphatidylinol 3,4-bisphosphate and phosphatidylinol 4,5-bisphosphate; the resulting conformation change is essential for the release of the jump alpha-tocopherol (By similarity).
