Question
Do you have any suggestions for an alternative if nitrogen gas is inaccessibe to evaporate the samples after extraction using EK7015? If they evaporate in a fume hood, will the samples still be okay?
Verified customer
Asked: 2019-03-06
Answer
For the process of evaporating the sample solvent using the Human Total Estrogens ELISA Kit (EK7015), it may take a longer to do it, but using indirect and mild source of heat (37oC in a sand bath) may work and we are sure your samples will be just fine but we are not sure whether it can eliminate all the solvent because at the end you will need a source of air to dry them out completely. This is just a suggestion for an alternative since you have no access to nitrogen gas.
