Background of FLRT2
Fibronectin leucine-rich repeat transmembrane protein FLRT2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FLRT2 gene. It is mapped to 14q31.3. This gene encodes a member of the fibronectin leucine rich transmembrane (FLRT) family of cell adhesion molecules, which regulate early embryonic vascular and neural development. The encoded type I transmembrane protein has an extracellular region consisting of an N-terminal leucine-rich repeat domain and a type 3 fibronectin domain, followed by a transmembrane domain and a short C-terminal cytoplasmic tail domain. It functions as both a homophilic cell adhesion molecule and a heterophilic chemorepellent through its interaction with members of the uncoordinated-5 receptor family. Proteolytic removal of the extracellular region controls the migration of neurons in the developing cortex. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Recommended Sample Dilution Ratios
According to our internal validation assays using this ELISA kit, to detect FLRT2, Dilution ratio of 1:1, concentration in serum is around 50pg/ml.
Intra Assay Consistency & Inter Assay Consistency
We measured random samples of Human FLRT2 ELISA Kit PicoKine® within the same batch/lot to ensure the consistency of the kits' performances. ELISA intra assay consistency is measured using wells from the same plate/assay kit. ELISA inter assay consistency is measured using wells from different plates from the same batch production/lot.
|Intra-Assay Precision||Inter-Assay Precision|
We ensure reproducibility by testing three samples with differing concentrations of FLRT2 in ELISA kits from four different production batches/lots.
