The I.S. CIRCLE WRITER (Immunity Staining Guard Pen) is Graftec Japan's proprietary PAP pen / hydrophobic barrier pen designed for immunohistochemistry (IHC). It draws a precise waterproof ring around tissue sections on glass slides, enabling effective PAP (peroxidase-anti-peroxidase) staining and accurate IHC results. Key features: - Pen-type form factor — very easy to handle and store - Dries quickly (~30 seconds) — increases inspection productivity - High durability and viscosity — circle will not rub out easily during washing - Not easily soluble in alcohol or acetone — PBS wash solution will not dissolve the circle - Circle is completely removable with Xylene after use - Manufactured in-house by Graftec Japan; supplied globally for over 20 years How to use: (1) Shake well before use. (2) Turn tip up, press down to remove air from pen. (3) Place tip on slide glass and press down several times. (4) Draw a circle around the tissue on the slide. (5) Dry ~30 seconds, then dip in PBS solution.
