Description
Mix-n-Stain™ Digoxigenin Antibody Labeling Kits allow you to label ≤5 ug up to 100 ug of your antibody with digoxigenin (DIG) in just 15 minutes, with minimal hands-on time and no purification. Labeling tolerates common antibody buffer formulations, and an ultrafiltration centrifuge vial is provided to quickly remove interfering substances like glycerol or to concentrate your antibody. With a slight modification in protocol, antibodies can be labeled in the presence of BSA, gelatin, or ascites fluid. Labeled non-antibody proteins such as BSA or gelatin typically wash away during immunofluorescence staining, resulting in minimal effect on background fluorescence. Before labeling, antibodies must meet compatibility requirements and the appropriate kit size and protocol should be selected based on antibody amount and buffer composition. Mix-n-Stain™ Antibody Labeling Kits are designed for rapid, simple labeling with no purification and 100% recovery. Kit components include an ultrafiltration spin vial (for antibody concentration or buffer exchange if needed), 10X Mix-n-Stain™ Reaction Buffer, lyophilized reactive digoxigenin, and Mix-n-Stain™ Storage Buffer.

Mix-n-Stain™ Digoxigenin Antibody Labeling Kits provide a rapid and convenient method to label antibodies with digoxigenin (DIG) in just 15 minutes, with minimal hands-on time and no purification step required. The kits are designed for labeling from less than or equal to 5 µg up to 100 µg of antibody.
- Label 5–20 µg, 20–50 µg, or 50–100 µg of antibody
- Less than 30 seconds of hands-on time
- 15 minutes total reaction time
- No purification, 100% recovery of your antibody
- Compatible with many common antibody buffer components, including BSA, gelatin, and ascites (with minor protocol adjustments)
The labeling reaction tolerates typical antibody buffer formulations. An included ultrafiltration spin vial can be used to remove interfering substances such as glycerol or to concentrate dilute antibody samples. When BSA, gelatin, or other proteins are present, any non-antibody proteins that become labeled are readily removed during standard immunofluorescence staining washes, minimizing background signal.
