VEGF-A is member of the family of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) proteins, which stimulate vasculogenesis and angiogenesis to restore oxygen supply to tissues. VEGF-A is also a vasodilator and increases microvascular permeability and was originally referred to as vascular permeability factor (VPF). Mouse VEGF-A Recombinant Protein is purified vascular endothelial growth factor A produced in yeast.
