Product Overview

The Multiplex Human Cytokine – Screen (16-plex) is a fully quantitative ELISA-based chemiluminescent assay allowing the concurrent measurement of 16 biomarkers or analytes. Multiple analyte measurements are achieved by adsorbing 16 distinct capture antibodies in a defined array to the bottom of each well of a 96-well plate. Our high-quality reagents help ensure the accuracy and precision of your results.

Using only 25 µl of sample per well, up to 80 samples can be assayed for all 16 markers in the panel within 2.25 hours. The Multiplex Human Cytokine – Screen (16-plex) provides researchers an easy to use and cost-effective means of generating a cytokine profile for each sample.

2 Customer Q&As for Multiplex ELISA Kit For Human Cytokine - Screen (16-plex)

Question

Please let me know how many separate samples we may test?

Verified customer

Asked: 2022-01-03

Answer

This human kit is in a 96-well plate. 16 of the wells are reserved for the calibration curve leaving 80 wells open for samples. Depending on the testing protocol, up to 80 samples may be tested. We do recommend running samples in triplicate, or at least in duplicate, and many customers also have controls they plan to run. This means that while a customer can run 80 samples per plate, most test between 25 and 40.

Question

Does the Multiplex ELISA Kit For Human Cytokine - Screen (16-Plex) (MEK1005) only work with the Q-plex reader?

Verified customer

Asked: 2021-11-02

Answer

If your reader is not Q-plex, please check if it meets the following requirements. Here are the minimum qualifications that the imager must meet to be able to image our plates: 1. The imager has a light‐tight imaging chamber, a non‐illumination or chemi-luminescent mode, and can export grayscale 16‐bit TIFF files. 2. Camera‐based imagers must also have at least 1 MP resolution (4+ MP, flat‐field correction, and a cooled sensor is preferred). 3. In addition, the device must also be able to export grayscale 16-bit TIFF files. We can not guarantee that our multiplex kit will work on your imager if it is not a Q-plex reader.
