Description
The S6 Ribosomal Protein (Phospho-Ser235+Ser236) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor S6 Ribosomal Protein (Phospho-Ser235+Ser236) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of S6 Ribosomal Protein (Phospho-Ser235+Ser236) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on S6 Ribosomal Protein (Phospho-Ser235+Ser236).

- Microplate reader able to measure absorbance at 450 nm and/or 595 nm for Crystal Violet Cell Staining (Optional)
- Micropipettes with capability of measuring volumes ranging from 1 ul to 1 ml
- 37% formaldehyde (Sigma Cat# F-8775) or formaldehyde from other sources
- Deionized or sterile water
- Squirt bottle, manifold dispenser, multichannel pipette reservoir or automated microplate washer
- Graph paper or computer software capable of generating or displaying logarithmic functions
- Absorbent papers or vacuum aspirator
- Test tubes or microfuge tubes capable of storing 1 ml
- Orbital shaker
- Poly-L-Lysine (Sigma Cat# P4832 for suspension cells)

The S6 Ribosomal Protein (Phospho-Ser235+Ser236) Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit EKC2625 is specifically geared towards whole cells (adherent or suspension) seeded to the bottom of the plate. It is not intended to be used with cell lysates or any other types of samples. It has not been validated for seeded lysates.
