Product Name
Anti-Alpha-methylacyl-CoA racemase AMACR Monoclonal Antibody
SKU/Catalog Number
M02217-2
Size
100ul
Form
Liquid
Description
AMACR is a racemase that interconverts branched-chain acyl-CoA stereoisomers (e.g., pristanoyl-CoA and bile acid intermediates), enabling peroxisomal/mitochondrial β-oxidation; it is widely used as an IHC biomarker in prostate cancer pathology (context-dependent). Assay context: monoclonal anti-AMACR (reported clone 4A12) validated for WB and IHC, supporting tumor-versus-benign tissue discrimination and metabolic reprogramming studies when paired with appropriate controls.
Storage & Handling
Store at -20°C for one year. For short term storage and frequent use, store at 4°C for up to one month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
