Flow Cytometry analysis of RT4 cells using anti-BBS9 antibody (A07367-2).
Overlay histogram showing RT4 cells stained with A07367-2 (Blue line). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with permeabilization buffer. The cells were blocked with 10% normal goat serum. And then incubated with rabbit anti-BBS9 Antibody (A07367-2, 1 μg/1x106 cells) for 30 min at 20°C. DyLight®488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (BA1127, 5-10 μg/1x106 cells) was used as secondary antibody for 30 minutes at 20°C. Isotype control antibody (Green line) was rabbit IgG (1 μg/1x106) used under the same conditions. Unlabelled sample without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody (Red line) was used as a blank control.

human liver cancer tissue, human lung cancer tissue, human prostate cancer tissue, human rectal cancer tissue, mouse brain tissue, rat brain tissue
Use TE buffer pH 9.0 for antigen retrieval; (*) citrate buffer pH 6.0 is an alternative.

Background of BBS9
Bardet–Biedl syndrome 9 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the BBS9 gene. This gene is downregulated by parathyroid hormone in osteoblastic cells, and therefore is thought to be involved in parathyroid hormone action in bones. The exact function of this gene has not yet been determined. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
