Background of DPP4
Dynamin-related GTPase required for mitochondrial fusion and regulation of apoptosis. May form a diffusion barrier for proteins stored in mitochondrial cristae. Proteolytic processing in response to intrinsic apoptotic signals may lead to disassembly of OPA1 oligomers and release of the caspase activator cytochrome C (CYCS) into the mitochondrial intermembrane space.

We are currently using anti-CD26 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M00597 for human tissue, and we are content with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human, mouse, rat. Is it possible that the antibody can work on horse tissues as well?

The anti-CD26 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody (M00597) has not been tested for cross reactivity specifically with horse tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity. From what I have seen in literature prostate uterus does express DPP4. From what I have seen in Uniprot.org, DPP4 is expressed in tendon of biceps brachii, liver, colon, peripheral blood, placenta, prostate uterus, kidney, plasma, among other tissues. Regarding which tissues have DPP4 expression, here are a few articles citing expression in various tissues:
