Flow Cytometry analysis of MCF-7 cells using anti-FZD1 antibody (PB9594).
Overlay histogram showing MCF-7 cells stained with PB9594 (Blue line). The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and blocked with 10% normal goat serum. And then incubated with rabbit anti-FZD1 Antibody (PB9594, 1 μg/1x106 cells) for 30 min at 20°C. Fluoro488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (BA1127, 5-10 μg/1x106 cells) was used as secondary antibody for 30 minutes at 20°C. Isotype control antibody (Green line) was rabbit IgG (1 μg/1x106) used under the same conditions. Unlabelled sample without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody (Red line) was used as a blank control.

Background of FZD1
Frizzled-1 (Frizzled homolog 1) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FZD1 gene. Members of the 'frizzled' gene family encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt signalingproteins. The FZD1 protein contains a signal peptide, a cysteine-rich domain in the N-terminal extracellular region, 7 transmembrane domains, and a C-terminal PDZ domain-binding motif. The FZD1 transcript is expressed in various tissues.
