Question

We have observed staining in human corpus callosum. Any tips? Is anti-Her3/ErbB3 (Ab-1289) antibody supposed to stain corpus callosum positively?

Verified Customer

Verified customer

Asked: 2018-09-28

Answer

From what I have seen in literature corpus callosum does express ERBB3. From what I have seen in Uniprot.org, ERBB3 is expressed in corpus callosum, placenta, hippocampus, placenta small intestine, skin, cervix carcinoma erythroleukemia, liver, among other tissues. Regarding which tissues have ERBB3 expression, here are a few articles citing expression in various tissues:
Cervix carcinoma, and Erythroleukemia, Pubmed ID: 23186163
Hippocampus, Placenta, and Small intestine, Pubmed ID: 14702039
Liver, Pubmed ID: 24275569
