Background of MX2
Interferon-induced dynamin-like GTPase with potent antiviral activity against human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). Acts by targeting the viral capsid and affects the nuclear uptake and/or stability of the HIV-1 replication complex and the subsequent chromosomal integration of the proviral DNA. Exhibits antiviral activity also against simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV-mnd). May play a role in regulating nucleocytoplasmic transport and cell-cycle progression.

We are currently using anti-MX2 antibody A02330 for human tissue, and we are happy with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it true that the antibody can work on zebrafish tissues as well?

The anti-MX2 antibody (A02330) has not been tested for cross reactivity specifically with zebrafish tissues, but there is a good chance of cross reactivity. We have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in zebrafish you can get your next antibody for free. Please contact me if I can help you with anything.
