Andrographolide (Andro) inhibits breast cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion via NF-κB/miR-21-5p/PDCD4 signaling. (A) Heat map of the qRT-PCR data of miRNA expression in MCF-7 cells with or without NF-κB inhibition. APDC: NF-κB inhibitor. (B) miR-21-5p expression in breast cancer tissue and MCF cells was also detected using qRT-PCR. miR-21-5p was markedly suppressed by Andro in MCF-7 cells and MMTV-PyMT mice. (C) Colony formation, wound healing, Transwell migration, and Matrigel invasion assay. Immunohistochemistry (D) and Immunoblotting assay (E) for PDCD4 expression in DMSO- and Andro-treated MMTV-PyMT mice. (F) Immunoblotting analysis for PDCD4 expression in MCF-7 cells. 5 Customer Q&As for Anti-PDCD4 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
Question
Will M01105 anti-PDCD4 Monoclonal antibody work on parafin embedded sections? If so, which fixation method do you recommend we use (PFA, paraformaldehyde, other)?
H. Williams
Verified customer
Asked: 2020-03-27
Answer
You can see on the product datasheet, M01105 anti-PDCD4 Monoclonal antibody as been tested on IF. It is best to use PFA for fixation because it has better tissue penetration ability. PFA needs to be prepared fresh before use. Long term stored PFA turns into formalin, as the PFA molecules congregate and become formalin.
