Background of RAD17

Transcription factor involved in the regulation of the insulin signaling pathway. Binds to insulin-response elements (IREs) and can activate transcription of IGFBP1. Down-regulates expression of HIF1A and suppresses hypoxia-induced transcriptional activation of HIF1A-modulated genes. Also involved in negative regulation of the cell cycle.

4 Customer Q&As for Anti-Phospho-Rad17 (Ser646) Polyclonal Antibody

Question

Do you require any kind of licensing agreement with the researcher who wants to evaluate a Boster polyclonal antibody for possible inclusion in a commercialize product?

Verified customer

Asked: 2022-07-05

Answer

Yes, we need to have a licensing agreement, for many purposes but primarily to ensure the continuous supply of this product, which the researcher would need. We should ask them to discuss more details including the expected demand of this antibody. Since this is a polyclonal antibody we need to produce ahead of time and validate to ensure it keeps working properly for the customer.

Question

Does anti-Phospho-Rad17 (Ser646) Polyclonal antibody P02159 work on zebrafish WB with brain?

C. Roberts

Verified customer

Asked: 2018-10-16

Answer

Our lab technicians have not tested anti-Phospho-Rad17 (Ser646) Polyclonal antibody P02159 on zebrafish. You can run a BLAST between zebrafish and the immunogen sequence of anti-Phospho-Rad17 (Ser646) Polyclonal antibody P02159 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated zebrafish samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in zebrafish brain in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
