Background of S100a1
F-actin cross-linking protein which is thought to anchor actin to a variety of intracellular structures. This is a bundling protein. Probably involved in vesicular trafficking via its association with the CART complex. The CART complex is necessary for efficient transferrin receptor recycling but not for EGFR degradation.

Question
We are currently using anti-S100 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M02503-1 for human tissue, and we are happy with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human, mouse. Is it likely that the antibody can work on canine tissues as well?

The anti-S100 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody (M02503-1) has not been tested for cross reactivity specifically with canine tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
