Host
Rabbit
Contents
SPATA3 Antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Clonality
Polyclonal
Isotype
IgG
Immunogen
SPATA3 antibody was raised against a 17 amino acid synthetic peptide near the carboxy terminus of human SPATA3. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of SPATA3.
Cross-reactivity
At least three isoforms of SPATA3 are known to exist; this antibody will detect only the longest two isoforms. SPATA3 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with SPATA protein family members
Reactive Species
A16295 is reactive to SPATA3 in Human, Mouse
Observed Molecular Weight

Background of SPATA3
The testis and spermatogenesis cell apoptosis related gene 1 (TSARG1) protein, also known as SPATA3, is highly expressed in testis, and to a lower extent in other tissues. SPATA3 contains a highly conserved J domain, which is present in all DnaJ-like proteins, and is thus a novel member of the HSP40 protein family. SPATA3 is thought to be involved in apoptosis of spermatogenic cells.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Assay Dilutions Recommendation
The recommendations below provide a starting point for assay optimization. The actual working concentration varies and should be decided by the user.
SPATA3 antibody can be used for detection of SPATA3 by Western blot at 1 - 2 μg/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 2.5 μg/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 20 μg/mL.
Antibody validated: Western Blot in mouse samples; Immunohistochemistry in mouse samples and Immunofluorescence in mouse samples. All other applications and species not yet tested. Optimal dilutions for each application should be determined by the researcher.
