Background of TNFAIP8L3
TNFAIP8L3 belongs to the TNFAIP8 family. It acts as a negative mediator of apoptosis and may play a role in tumor progression. This gene suppresses the TNF-mediated apoptosis by inhibiting caspase-8 activity but not the processing of procaspase-8, subsequently resulting in inhibition of BID cleavage and caspase-3 activation.

We are currently using anti-TNFAIP8L3 antibody PA2257 for human tissue, and we are happy with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it likely that the antibody can work on feline tissues as well?

The anti-TNFAIP8L3 antibody (PA2257) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with feline tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
