Reactive Species
AZQ8AXX2 is reactive to TBX1 in Zebrafish
Background of TBX1
Predicted to enable DNA-binding transcription factor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific; RNA polymerase II cis-regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity; and protein homodimerization activity. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including chordate pharyngeal muscle development; embryonic organ morphogenesis; and positive regulation of secondary heart field cardioblast proliferation. Predicted to be active in chromatin and nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including cardiovascular system; mesoderm; pharyngeal arch; presumptive paraxial mesoderm; and vestibuloauditory system. Used to study DiGeorge syndrome and velocardiofacial syndrome. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including DiGeorge syndrome; congenital heart disease (multiple); hypoparathyroidism; sensorineural hearing loss; and velocardiofacial syndrome. Orthologous to human TBX1 (T-box transcription factor 1).
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

IHC analysis of TBX1 using anti-TBX1 antibody (AZQ8AXX2).
TBX1 was detected in a paraffin-embedded section of zebrafish brain tissue. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0, epitope retrieval solution). The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. The tissue section was then incubated with 2 μg/ml rabbit anti-TBX1 Antibody (AZQ8AXX2) overnight at 4°C. Peroxidase Conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The tissue section was developed using HRP Conjugated Rabbit IgG Super Vision Assay Kit (Catalog # SV0002) with DAB as the chromogen.
