APC2 anti-human antibodies have been generated by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the Lys458 amino acid sequence of human APC2. Benefits of using the APC2 Marker

In vitro functional studies have demonstrated that APC2 is active in quiescent extracts. To determine APC activity, lysates must be depleted of Cdc20 and pro-TAME. Several limitations exist in this assay, including the lack of a negative control. However, colocalization of APC2 with dynactin subunit P150 has shown that APC is associated with the mother centriole. Furthermore, triple labeling of APC2 with the P150 subunit has been demonstrated in some studies.
