Acetylserotonin O-methyltransferase (ASMT)

Isoform 1 catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group onto N-acetylserotonin, producing melatonin (N-acetyl-5- methoxytryptamine). Isoform 2 and isoform 3 deficiency enzyme activity.
