Catalyzes the omega- and (omega-1)-hydroxylation of different fatty acids like laurate, myristate and palmitate. Has little action toward prostaglandins A1 and E1.

Oxidizes arachidonic acid to 20-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (20-HETE). .
