Expressed exclusively in vomeronasal neurons (PubMed:19387439 and PubMed:19497865). Expressed in 0.6 % of a subset of sensory neurons located in the basal layer of the vomeronasal organ. Each neuron appears to express only one receptor gene. Expressed mostly in neutrophils, followed by spleen and lung and expressed at very low levels in heart and liver (PubMed:19387439).
