EKC/KEOPS complex subunit GON7 (GON7)

Part of the EKC/KEOPS complex that's necessary for the creation of a threonylcarbamoyl set on adenosine at position 37 (t(6)A37) in tRNAs that read codons starting with adenine. The complex is likely involved in the transfer of the threonylcarbamoyl moiety of threonylcarbamoyl-AMP (TC-AMP) into the N6 set of A37.

GON7 probably plays a supporting role to the catalytic subunit OSGEP from the complex. .
