May be the adapter linking the Par3 complex into the GPSM1/GPSM2 complex. Involved in spindle orientation during mitosis (PubMed:16301171, PubMed:21816348).

May regulate cell proliferation and differentiation in the developing nervous system (PubMed:16301171). May play a role in the asymmetric division of fibroblasts and take part in the process of stratification of the squamous epithelium (PubMed:16094321).
