Strongly expressed in brain, kidney and ovary. Moderately expressed in liver, spleen, thymus, prostate, testis, small intestine and colon. Weakly expressed in heart, placenta, lung and leukocytes.

Cytoplasm. Nucleus, nucleolus. Interaction with MAFF induces its translocation from the cytoplasm to the nucleolus.
