Tissue Specificity

All isoforms are detected in kidney, and many are kidney specific. Isoforms 2 and 13 are also detected in liver. Isoforms 4 and 9/K4 are ubiquitous, but isoform 9/K13 is kidney specific. Isoforms 5 and 14 are detected in all tissues tested, with the exception of pancreas and spleen. Isoforms 11 and 15 are detected in kidney, pancreas and testis. Isoform 7 is detected in kidney, liver, testis and spleen.
