2 Customer Q&As for TNR16 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Question

Does EKC1672 kit have a special plate coated with antibodies? If it is an uncoated culture plate, Is it possible to perform assays on similar plates?

Verified customer

Asked: 2020-01-10

Answer

The plate included in the TNR16 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA EKC1672 kit is not coated with antibodies, therefore, you can perform the assays on similar plates just as long as the plates are for cell culture.

Answered: 2020-01-10

Question

Regarding step 11 in the assay protocol for EKC1672 kit, If you add NGFR and GAPDH antibody to the same well, how do you adjust at GAPDH? Should we separate wells for NGFR and GAPDH?

Verified customer

Asked: 2019-01-14

Answer

For the TNR16 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA EKC1672 kit, GAPDH is a housekeeping gene and is used to normalize. So you don't need to adjust GAPDH. Also, no need to separate the wells for NGFR and GAPDH.
