Flow Cytometry analysis of HEPA1-6 cells using anti-Afm antibody (A00275-3).

And then incubated with rabbit anti-Afm Antibody (A00275-3, 1μg/1x106 cells) for 30 min at 20°C. DyLight®488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (BA1127, 5-10μg/1x106 cells) was used as secondary antibody for 30 minutes at 20°C. Isotype control antibody (Green line) was rabbit IgG (1μg/1x106) used under the same conditions. Unlabelled sample without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody (Red line) was used as a blank control.

Use EDTA pH 8.0 for antigen retrieval; (*) citrate buffer pH 6.0 is an alternative.

Background of Afm
Afamin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AFM gene. This gene is a member of the albumin gene family, which is comprised of four genes that localize to chromosome 4 in a tandem arrangement. These four genes encode structurally-related serum transport proteins that are known to be evolutionarily related. The protein encoded by this gene is regulated developmentally, expressed in the liver and secreted into the bloodstream.
