We are currently using anti-CD1a / HTA1 (Mature Langerhans Cells Marker) Monoclonal antibody M00375 for human tissue, and we are content with the IHC results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it possible that the antibody can work on dog tissues as well?

My colleagues were satisfied with the WB result of your anti-CD1a / HTA1 (Mature Langerhans Cells Marker) Monoclonal antibody. However we have seen positive staining in thymus cell membrane using this antibody. Is that expected? Could you tell me where is CD1A supposed to be expressed?

Based on literature, thymus does express CD1A. Generally CD1A expresses in cell membrane. Regarding which tissues have CD1A expression, here are a few articles citing expression in various tissues:
