|Molecular Weight||32826 MW|
*if product is indicated to react with multiple species, protein info is based on the human gene.
|Protein Function||Regulatory component of the cyclin D2-CDK4 (DC) complex that phosphorylates and inhibits members of the retinoblastoma (RB) protein family including RB1 and regulates the cell-cycle during G(1)/S transition. Phosphorylation of RB1 allows dissociation of the transcription factor E2F from the RB/E2F complex and the subsequent transcription of E2F target genes which are responsible for the progression through the G(1) phase. Hypophosphorylates RB1 in early G(1) phase. Cyclin D-CDK4 complexes are major integrators of various mitogenenic and antimitogenic signals. Also substrate for SMAD3, phosphorylating SMAD3 in a cell-cycle-dependent manner and repressing its transcriptional activity. Component of the ternary complex, cyclin D2/CDK4/CDKN1B, required for nuclear translocation and activity of the cyclin D-CDK4 complex (By similarity). .|

|Background||Inaba et al.(1992) used murine cDNA clones for 3 cyclin D genes that are normally expressed during the G1 phase of the cell cycle to clone the cognate human genes. D-type cyclins(cyclins D1, D2, and D3) are regarded as essential links between cell environment and the core cell cycle machinery. cyclin D2(CCND2) gene ia assigned to 12p13.|

Guaranteed product quality
We promise all of our products perform as described in datasheets.
Q: Is your western blot protocol provided from the website applicable for all your antibodies? Keyword: applications, WBA: The protocol is applicable for all our antibodies in WB, the NC Membrane(0.45μm or 0.22μm) and transfer time(70 mins or 50 mins) depends on the protein molecular weight, details can be found in included protocol.
Q: Can I conjugate markers to this antibody? Can I link custom conjugates to this antibody? Keyword: conjugationA: The antibody is stored with BSA and cannot be conjugated with markers. Carrier free antibodies are available upon request. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: Can you provide monoclonal antibodies carrier free?A: For most of our monoclonal antibodies, we are unable to provide them carrier free. If you would like to check if a specific antibody can be provided carrier free, please send an email to email@example.com.
