Pathways/functions (putative): IL-12A (p35) forms the IL-12 (p70) heterodimer → JAK/STAT (STAT4) signaling driving Th1 polarization; relevance in infection and immuno-oncology research. Assay: rabbit polyclonal primary validated for WB/IHC/IF/ELISA across human/mouse/rat. Often profiled with metabolic markers such as FABP2/I-FABP and ACSL3 to study immunometabolism; can be contrasted with neurotrophin BDNF in neuro-immune panels (putative).
Storage & Handling
Store at -20°C for one year. For short term storage and frequent use, store at 4°C for up to one month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

You can run a BLAST between primate and the immunogen sequence of anti-IL-12A antibody A00918 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated primate samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in primate lower esophagus mucosa in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
