Flow Cytometry analysis of Neuro2a cells using anti-NRCAM antibody (A03746-1).

And then incubated with rabbit anti-NRCAM Antibody (A03746-1, 1 μg/1x106 cells) for 30 min at 20°C. DyLight®488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (BA1127, 5-10 μg/1x106 cells) was used as secondary antibody for 30 minutes at 20°C. Isotype control antibody (Green line) was rabbit IgG (1 μg/1x106) used under the same conditions. Unlabelled sample without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody (Red line) was used as a blank control.

Background of NRCAM
Enables protein binding activity involved in heterotypic cell-cell adhesion. Involved in cell-cell adhesion; nervous system development; and regulation of postsynapse organization. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including neuron development; neuronal action potential propagation; and regulation of neuron projection development. Located in axon; plasma membrane; and synapse. Is active in glutamatergic synapse and postsynaptic density membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; integumental system; and sensory organ. Used to study autism spectrum disorder. Orthologous to human NRCAM (neuronal cell adhesion molecule).
